Polestar Precept To Enter Production
Pole Star announced today that the bid Concept model, Shown earlier this yearwill go into production. A vehicle is currently being developed in the UK and more than 130 people are already working on it.
The decision was made after the company realized that people like it and there should be a market for such a good-looking, sporty electric car. Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar, said:
"'' Breathtaking. Spectacular. Modern. We want to see it on the street! '- This is what the press wrote about Precept and the public said," Do you want it? "So we decided to build it."
The Polestar bid will be manufactured in China, Polestar's home market, in a brand new manufacturing facility currently being planned. The plant will not only be climate neutral, it will also be one of the most intelligent and networked automobile production facilities in the world.
Polestar points out that an important part of the bid is the lightweight carbon composite construction and sustainable materials:
"The interior of Polestar Precept is made from a mix of sustainable materials including recycled PET bottles, reclaimed fishing nets and recycled cork vinyl. A flax-based composite developed by external partner Bcomp Ltd. is used in many interior and some exterior parts. Polestar's goal is to bring much of that sustainability into production. "
